Attaching 20GA Steel sheets to vertical wall studs… how?
Is there a special tool/equipment that I can use to attach random size 20 Gauge Cold Rolled Steel Plates to the metal studs they use for walls? I’m trying to avoid from drilling the steel plates and drilling the metal studs and then screwing the two together. Is there such a tool that will shoot possibly some short nails or industrial staples through 20GA steel plate (very thin and flexible) and a metal stud?? And if so, is it something that can be rented or cheaply bought at a home improvement store? This is for a one time project. Any help is appreciated.
