Upper left abdomen problem! help?
Previous to getting this discomfort I had been doing a lot of home improvement projects. Shortly after I started having an odd discomfort in my upper left abdomen (location:area below my ribcage) The discomfort was never really a pain. I would experience it the most during sitting. (the only way to describe it is that it felt as though my ribs were resting on something)
I went to the doctor and at the time did not have any other symptoms so the doctor did not do any tests (other than a chest x-ray) and thought it was probably just a pulled muscle.
It’s been a couple weeks now and the past couple of days I’ve experienced loose stool. I don’t actually use the restroom more frequently..it’s just more loose than normal. I don’t feel any cramping feelings or anything. I also don’t notice any changes in feelings based on food/eating.
Now I’m still experiencing the annoying rib-like feeling I discussed but now sometimes I feel more of a pressure.
I’m not sure what this could be.
