Question on kids playing volleyball in the backayrd for my daughter’s birthday?
I set up a volleyball court in the grass in our backyard. Our backyard is flat and clean. My daughter wants to have her friends over for her birthday and play volleyball as one of the events. There will be about 12 of them (6 per side).
I am wondering if I should force them to all take off their footwear and play barefoot so that no one steps on someone else and causes an injury. It seems pretty unlikely that all of them will be wearing sneakers and socks to the party.
What would you do? Is playing barefoot safe? Should I tell everyone what footwear to wear for the party instead?
