What would be a reason to be denied a home improvement permit from the city?
I watch a lot of HGTV (I’d like to flip one day) and this lady flipping a house tried to get a permit from the city to knock down the top half of the wall and create a pony wall/pass through, but the construction permit was not approved. What are some reasons it might not be approved? Also, how do you know if the extent of something you are doing requires a permit or not?
