Tips for grass cutting business?

Last year was my first year to do this and it turned out to be pretty successful, i just would like some opinions from other people on how to make it better. I charged, 25 dollars for average yards, and 30 for descent size yards. Any tips on, getting more customers, adjusting pricing and when to hand out fliers for the spring would be great.
I also do some landscaping too, Mulching, planting, ect..

what can i do to the backyard in addition to grass?

tomorrow we are clearing out the backyard and laying sod. after taking measurements, we found out theres about 1350 sqft of area to cover. thats about $550 worth of sod. we are on a very tight budget and only wanted to pay about half that. what else could we do with some space that is children friendly (we want the boys aged 2 and 1 to play back there without getting into dirt or throwing rocks). yes i know theyre boys and they’ll get dirty. i just mean i dont want them playing in dirt piles. they have plenty of toys, a sandbox, and a swing set. im just trying to think of something to laydown or add back there that wont add a tremendous amount of money. any ideas?
